Experiencing yoga as a living practice in real life — integrated into your daily routines, relationships, and work — is profoundly transformational.
The Art & Science of Teaching Yoga will teach you to:
The importance of creating and holding space
Efficient and efficacious language
See students more clearly and teach to what you see
Inspire students to move from the inside out
Verbal adjustments & corrective applications
Weave authentic themes/philosophy into classes
Sequencing strategies for various class levels
Observation and demonstration skills
Teach thoughtful and skilful yoga classes
Take the seat of the teacher with greater confidence
SPECIAL INCLUSIONS

Practice Teaching & Mentoring
From October to November, you’ll step into real-life teaching: guiding 45-minute Community Classes, receiving mentoring, observing, assisting, and refining your skills. You cannot become a good teacher without actual teaching. As Malcolm Gladwell says, “It takes ten thousand hours to truly master anything. Time spent leads to experience; experience leads to proficiency; and the more proficient you are, the more valuable you become.”
Real Opportunities Beyond Graduation
YOGA LYFE is a thriving, connected community. Many graduates from our previous trainings continue to teach with us — and across respected studios in Melbourne. We’ll help support you as you step into your path.
