YIN YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

This 20-hour introductory training will immerse you in the theory and application of Yin Yoga, offering a comprehensive foundation for those looking to deepen their personal practice or enhance their confidence to teach.
Yin Yoga is more than just stretching, when skilfully applied, it can work to down- regulate the nervous system, and create stillness within the body and the mind.
There are many ways to teach and practice Yin Yoga. This training will include conversations around different approaches, the hows? and the whys?. It will focus on the practical application and integration of the concepts studied.
Under the guidance of Tania Perry, one of Melbourne's most dedicated and passionate Yin Yoga teachers, you’ll journey into “The Quiet Practice” and explore ways to cultivate a more meaningful experience for yourself and for your students.
The course will provide you with essential tools and techniques to better understand the subtle nuances of Yin Yoga, including the relevant anatomical and energetic principles.
This Yin Yoga Teacher Training will work to expand your knowledge of how to practice and effectively teach some of the primary Yin Yoga asana, including how to prop and modify. It will explore the principles of teaching in a functional way, and include an introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine theory. The 20 hours is structured to cater for all types of learners, including various teaching methodologies, a mixture of lectures and practicum, with time dedicated to review, discuss and apply what we learn.

This advanced 20-hour immersion is designed to refine your skills, enhance your confidence, and deepen your ability to offer meaningful and transformative Yin Yoga experiences to your students.
The Art of Teaching Yin Yoga will focus on the subtleties of teaching, giving you the tools to create classes that go beyond the physical to reach the emotional, energetic, and mental layers of your students. Through this immersion, you’ll explore the heart of teaching Yin, from creating intentional class sequences to mastering the art of holding space for others in stillness and contemplation.
