Yoga and Giving Back

Dear LYFE Community,

As we traverse the roads, breathing in the essence of nature and embracing the gifts of this journey, Brian and I find ourselves reflecting on the profound interconnectedness of life. Every breath, every step, echoes our unity with the earth and the collective energy of our ancestors. It is in these moments of gratitude that the seeds of change are sown.

Our privilege is not lost on us. We recognize the profound gift of time and space to practice yoga — a privilege not everyone enjoys. This reflection has led us to contemplate how we can extend the benefits of yoga to those in need, especially during challenging times.

Enter Yogahood Australia — a beacon of hope, on a mission to bring the transformative power of yoga to communities facing adversity. Their vision is to contribute to the creation of thriving, healthy, and peaceful neighborhoods through the practice of yoga. It's heartening to know that members of our yoga tribe, including Briony, Emma, Jani, and many others, actively participate in this noble cause.

In the spirit of celebrating the gifts of yoga, I personally invite you to join us for free classes throughout June and on International Yoga Day. But, if you find it in your heart and means, I encourage you to make a donation to Yogahood Australia. Your contribution will directly impact local communities, providing access to the healing practices that have been our sanctuary during challenging times.

Remember to be kind to yourself and take the best care possible. I look forward to reconnecting with you on the mat this month while I'm back.

Much love,

xx Denise

Take the time today, and always, to appreciate this gift of life that we have all been given.

Remember and share love with your family and friends.

Forgive those souls that do not share in your path and challenge your spirit.

Thank them for teaching you that you, yourself, can work to improve yourself still further in order to reach a higher self.

Remember that child within and embrace him or her.

Admire yourself for your life's journey and how you grow each day to fulfill your life's dharma."
