Community

Dear Yoga LYFE Family,

As many of you know, the past few months have taken me on a journey, shuttling back and forth to Melbourne for various life events – from solemn farewells to joyous celebrations. This constant movement has led me to contemplate the profound dimensions of time and space, of hellos and goodbyes, of being present and departing once again.

In a recent reflection by Sarah Wilson, she aptly described this peculiar state as a "liminal time and space" – the eerie sadness of standing at the threshold between leaving and arriving. The term 'limen,' from Latin, signifies the threshold that separates one space from another. Indeed, I find myself at that threshold once more.

Suspended in this space, between worlds, I can't help but wonder about the mysteries that lie ahead. It's during these moments that returning to our yoga community in Melbourne feels like rediscovering home, a place where the heart finds solace and genuine support.

I resonate deeply with the sentiment of being at another threshold, and perhaps that's why coming back to our yoga studio feels so incredibly uplifting. It's a sanctuary where I, and all of us, can explore, connect, and rediscover that sense of belonging.

In a world filled with stories of the need for community and authentic conversations, we at YOGA LYFE aspire to be a safe haven for you – a place where connections are forged, conversations flow, and a sense of belonging blossoms. We are here for you, and we encourage you to come whenever you can.

I want to express my sincerest gratitude to each of you for being an integral part of our community and for welcoming me home with open arms. Your presence adds immeasurable richness to our shared journey.

With a heart full of thanks,

Denise xx
